Fact or fiction?

POSTED: Friday, January 16, 2009

Hawaiians are not an Indian tribe.

That's a foolish notion we can't abide.

We didn't foster the overthrow.

Because President Cleveland clearly said, “;No.”;

  The state now owns all ceded land.

Which holds it for our multiple-racial band.

Already constitute a privileged class.

  Sovereignty advocates want to cure their malaise

By taking us back to prehistoric days.

The Akaka Bill has many afflictions

And is clearly based on multiple fictions.
