Righting a wrong

An African-American of some note
Will move into a house at public expense.
Being sent there by a unanimous vote
An historic term he will soon commence.
He will be guarded by a security service
In a house covering a large expanse.
Public protection makes us nervous
For loss of life we cannot chance.
His entry there will right a wrong
Which has festered for far too long.
At last, we've seen the final curtain.
O.J. Simpson is gone for certain.
