Rainbows look to rebound with LaTech

The Hawaii men's basketball team will try to re-establish a homecourt advantage in the Western Athletic Conference tonight by closing out an eight-game homestand against Louisiana Tech.
The Rainbow Warriors (8-5, 0-1 WAC) went through a lengthy film session yesterday to address some of the execution errors that derailed a comeback attempt against defending champion Boise State on Saturday.
Hawaii coach Bob Nash felt that the team was able to put the loss behind it and is focused on snapping a six-game overall conference losing streak against the Bulldogs (7-7, 1-0 WAC), who are coming off a win at San Jose State. LaTech is led by 6-foot-5 junior Kyle Gibson (15.8 points per game), a preseason All-WAC selection and one of four starters who average double figures.
“;One game doesn't make or break a season,”; Nash said. “;We're just trying to get on the winning side in conference. Hopefully we can come out and get that by executing, concentrating for 40 minutes, and rebounding the way we've done.”;
Hawaii, which departs tomorrow for WAC road games at Idaho (on Thursday) and Boise State (on Saturday), is 5-1 in Monday games.
