Pepperdine visits Rainbow Wahine

The Hawaii women's basketball team takes on Pepperdine today in the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic at 3 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The three-team tournament continues tomorrow with the Waves playing Colorado at 3 p.m.

In their final game before the start of Western Athletic Conference play, the Rainbow Wahine (3-8) face the Buffaloes at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Both UH games will be televised on KFVE.

HPU's Hopkins honored by PacWest

Hawaii Pacific freshman forward Mana Hopkins was named Pacific West Conference women's basketball player of the week yesterday.

Hopkins averaged 22 points and six rebounds in two games played last week.
