Learn feng shui from a real chi wiz
Author Clear Englebert is teaching six weekly classes on the art of feng shui at Kapiolani Community College beginning Jan. 9.
Englebert, author of “;Feng Shui for Hawai'i”; (Watermark Publishing), will focus on a different topic each Friday:
» Jan. 9: Chi energy flow within the home
» Jan. 16: Chi energy outside the home, and negative energy, known as poison arrows
» Jan. 23: Poison arrows within the home, such as open beams
» Jan. 30: Empowered positions within the home and in the landscape
Feb. 6: The “;bagua”; map, with interior applications
Feb. 13: The “;bagua”; map, with exterior applications

Englebert will also offer a free seminar at 1 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Pearlridge INspiration furniture store. He will walk through the showroom to point out examples of good feng shui and how to make feng shui work in the home.
