The lack of snow doesn't prevent Hawaii's people from enjoying yule-themed activities, performances, and even a Christmas canoe ride.

Polynesian Cultural Center is inviting all to enjoy Christmas in Polynesia from 6 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow. The newest addition to this year's event, “;A Gift for Sadie: Christmas Through the Eyes of a Child,”; offers guests a chance to relive the night of the nativity, as a mother narrates the story to her young daughter.

Then, the Christmas canoe ride will tour through a series of contemporary holiday and traditional nativity scenes, while Christmas melodies fill the air. Special holiday souvenirs, crafts, artwork and gifts will be available to purchase.

Tickets are $8 for 16 and older, and $5 for ages 5 to 15. Meals are sold separately. An Ambassador restaurant dinner buffet is priced at $20 per person, including choices of prime rib au jus, cold crab legs, sushi, baked mahimahi, soups, salads and desserts.

Or head to the Gateway restaurant for a $10 per person buffet.
