Saints upend Silverswords

Dara Jack scored a game-high 17 points on 7-for-9 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds in only 21 minutes of play as Saint Martin's crushed Chaminade 84-38 yesterday in a women's basketball game in Hilo.

Jamey Gelhar added 13 points for the Saints (7-2), who outscored the winless Silverswords (0-5) 52-14 in the second half. Chaminade committed 25 turnovers.

Samantha Saito led the Silverswords with 14 points, including three 3-pointers.

Chaminade will play Harding University tomorrow in Honolulu.
