Community of Christ, 1666 Mott-Smith Drive, 536-6330. The annual Christmas dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 21, followed by a worship service with the theme “;Rejoice, Christ Is Here!”;
Contemplative Outreach of Hawaii, 536 6090. A class on Centering Prayer will provide a silent retreat at 9 a.m. next Saturday at Central Union Church Women's Building, 1660 S. Beretania St.
Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin, 1727 Pali Highway. The Hongwanji Follies at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 21 will feature the Rev. Richard Tennes as vocalist and Francis Okano, pianist.
John 17:21 Ministry. The monthly service will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1350 Hunakai St. Service will be followed by a free dinner.

» Soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and other toiletries are being collected for distribution to the homeless.
» The Children's Day service will begin at 10 a.m. Dec. 21. Children will prepare gift bags for homeless children. Call Lisa, 489-9208, if you are coming. Adults and children will wrap toiletries as gifts to people staying at Institute for Human Services.
Nuuanu Congregational Church, 2651 Pali Highway, 595-3935. The 9 a.m. service tomorrow will feature the Chancel Choir performing “;A Christmas Invitation.”;
St. Andrew's Cathedral, Queen Emma Square, 524-2822. The Choir Carol Concert will begin at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow. Historical and traditional carols will be performed with audience participation.
Waiokeola Congregational Church, 4705 Kilauea Ave., 737-0541. There will be no morning worship service tomorrow. An original Christmas pageant will be presented at 7 p.m. Dorothy Wright is the composer of “;Gifts to the Christ Child from Around the World.”;
