HPR to air presidential address weekly

Beginning tomorrow, Hawaii Public Radio will broadcast the weekly national presidential address.

President Bush's address and the following opposition response will be broadcast on KIPO 89.3 at 12:06 p.m. Saturdays, pre-empting a brief segment of “;Weekend All Things Considered.”; Recently, the opposition response has been delivered by President-elect Barack Obama.

The length of both addresses varies, but KIPO will resume scheduled programming by 12:19 p.m.

KIPO can also be heard online at and on Oceanic Cable Television digital channel 865.
