Prep prospects ready to play

Twelve future University of Hawaii football players will line up in the inaugural Hawaii/Polynesia-Mainland Bowl, the feature game of the Hawaii All-Star Classic doubleheader tomorrow at Aloha Stadium.

They'll face what could be the finest prep all-star mainland team to ever visit the isles.

The early game, pitting the West and East in an all-Oahu matchup, features some of the state's most productive players. The West, with coach Amosa Amosa, prolific passer Lalo Receiver, and receivers Daniel Masifilo and Arthur Aiwohi - all from Campbell - could provide plenty of offensive firepower.
