Police look into sex abuse case
Police are investigating the case of a 45-year-old male baby sitter who allegedly sexually assaulted a 23-month-old girl.
The possible sexual assaults of the child were reported by the parents, police said.
The sexual assaults allegedly occurred Monday and Nov. 17, police said. Police have classified the case as first-degree sexual assault.
The case is pending further investigation.
2 men sought after bar robbery
Police are looking for two armed men who they say robbed Club Eva in downtown Honolulu Nov. 19.
The two entered the bar, located at 180 N. Nimitz Highway, allegedly armed with guns and robbed the club and patrons, police said.
They fled on foot in an unknown direction.
One suspect is described as 5 feet 7 inches, wearing a white hooded jacket, dark long pants and carrying a shotgun.
The other is described as 5 feet 2 inches, wearing a two-tone jacket, light-colored shorts, a baseball cap and sneakers, and armed with a handgun.
The approximate ages of the suspects were not provided.

Woman injured in mo-ped crash
A 51-year-old Anchorage, Alaska, woman was critically injured when the mo-ped she was riding fell over yesterday afternoon near Diamond Head.
Police said the woman was riding east on Diamond Head Road with two other riders when her mo-ped toppled, causing her to be thrown and to hit her head on the pavement. She suffered an open head wound and was taken in critical condition to the Queen's Medical Center.
The two other moped riders were not involved in the 3:08 p.m. accident, 228 feet east of Makalei Place.
Police said it was unclear why the mo-ped fell. The woman was not wearing a helmet, police said.

Teenager arrested in theft of mo-ped
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy who was allegedly driving a mo-ped reported stolen last month.
A 41-year-old man told police that he locked his mo-ped in Kalihi at 3 p.m. on Nov. 18 and it was missing the next day when he returned to use it. He made a police report that the mo-ped had been stolen. At about 3:10 p.m. yesterday the man saw the suspect driving the mo-ped in Salt Lake and called police.
Officers confirmed that it was the same mo-ped that had been reported stolen and then arrested the teen on suspicion of auto theft. He was released later pending investigation.
Woman says teen stole gallon of milk
Police arrested an 18-year-old man yesterday for allegedly stealing milk.
At about 12:05 a.m., a 24-year-old woman found the man inside her North Vineyard Boulevard home, removing an unopened gallon of milk from her refrigerator, said police.
Police said the suspect left the home with the milk, and the woman called police. Officers found the suspect outside the house with the milk container - by then empty, police said.
The suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary, police said.

Officers seek man in car-arson case
A dispute over money led a homeless man to try to set fire to a vehicle where another man lived, police said.
Police are looking for a male suspect in his 30s, who fled the scene. At about 1 a.m. yesterday, a 34-year-old homeless man was sleeping in his vehicle on Center Street in Wahiawa when the suspect broke the car's rear window.
Police said the suspect walked away for a moment, then returned with a canister of gasoline and poured gas over the rear of the vehicle. The occupant called police while the suspect allegedly attempted to light several matches. He was not injured.
The suspect, who fled the scene before police arrived, is wanted on suspicion of attempted first-degree arson and criminal property damage.

Man surrenders after ramming car
A 48-year-old Waianae man turned himself in to police Sunday after allegedly driving his car into his wife's boyfriend's car on Saturday.
Police said that shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday, the husband saw his wife with her boyfriend, both 38, in another car in Ko Olina. The husband allegedly drove his car to cut off the other car and then reversed it into the boyfriend's car.
His wife and her boyfriend drove away and called police.
At 5 p.m. Sunday, the husband turned himself in at the Kapolei police station and was arrested on suspicion of first-degree criminal property damage.
WINDWARD OAHU
Man accused of trying to steal car
Police caught a 31-year-old man who allegedly attempted to steal a car from the driveway of a Kaneohe residence yesterday.
The man was spotted trying to steal the vehicle, police said. Uniformed and plainclothes officers converged on the scene at 45-556 Awapapa Place, and the suspect tried to flee.
Police said there was a brief struggle before the officers arrested the man on suspicion of attempted auto theft and a drug offense.
Police found several packets of what appeared to be crystal methamphetamine on him, police said.
EAST OAHU
Man, 24, arrested in Hawaii Kai theft
Police arrested a 24-year-old man who allegedly rummaged through two cars in the carport of a Hawaii Kai home and then allegedly removed mail from the homeowner's mailbox.
Witnesses told police they saw the man enter and search both cars about 2:20 p.m. yesterday then go down to the mailbox, remove items, and throw them on the ground fronting the home.
A woman's credit card statement was among the items thrown on the ground, police said.
Officers arrested the man for investigation of two counts of first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and one count of unauthorized possession of confidential and personal information.
