You'll be seeing stars when browsing the Fighting Eel racks for the holidays. The company's 12 newest designs feature gold metallic starfish imagery created by Rona Bennett on fields of burnt sienna, delicate ivory, chocolate brown and deep ocean blue.

The local company's playful feminine designs are favorites of such fashion- and photo-conscious celebrities as Eva Longoria-Parker, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Hayden Panettiere.

Shop for the designs at Nordstrom, the Butik, Second Skin at Ward Warehouse and Mary Z's in Kailua. Prices range from $150 to $202.

Also, to make it easier to get the dresses you want for Christmas, Fighting Eel has started its Wish List, an in-store gift registry service.

Visit the Fighting Eel headquarters upstairs at 47 N. Hotel St. to pick out the dresses you like. Your list will be e-mailed to recipients of your choice, and if they really are your BFFs, all you'll have to do is wait until Dec. 25 to open up your FE gift boxes.
