After a brief hiatus, local rock returns to King's Pub in Waikiki.

The 808 Scene Zine and Fifteen07 Music Studios host “;Saturdays Rocks,”; an 18-and-over showcase that starts at 8 p.m. Cover is $3 for those under 21, with no cover charged to those old enough to drink.

This week's featured bands include A Sedated Nation (pictured), Stoic F.B., Commando, O.D.M. and Amnity Street.

”;The Tournament: Heavyweights”;

The Waipahu FilCom Center plays host once again to “;The Tournament,”; an invitation-only competition that focuses on established dancers from around Oahu.

“;Heavyweights”; will take place from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, with Big Mox and DJs Flip, Vince the Funk and Sir Style keeping things moving between b-boy and b-girl battles. Admission is $15; no cameras allowed.
