Bring the family to Kapiolani Community College on Saturday for a free concert by Hoku Award winner Hoku Zuttermeister (pictured) and friends, starting at 5 p.m. on KCC's Great Lawn.

Kaukahi will open the evening, followed by Keoki Kahumoku at 6:45 p.m. and Zuttermeister at 8 p.m. Admission and parking is free, and a variety of hot foods and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Hawaii Comedy Theater

Starting next week, Hawaii Comedy Theater kicks off a new schedule for two weekly showcases.

“;Comedy Polynesia,”; featuring Bo Irvine, Chief Sielu, Kento and Michael Staats will take place at 8 p.m., followed by “;Sharkey's Comedy Club”; at 9:30 p.m. Kenny Johnson, Shawn Felipe and Arthur Wayne are the featured comedians for the later show. Both showcases repeat at the same times on Saturdays, starting next weekend.
