Teen hospitalized after gunshot
Police are investigating the shooting last night of a 16-year-old boy in Kalihi who was reported in stable condition.
City Emergency Services Department spokesman Bryan Cheplic said the teenager received a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported in stable condition from the vicinity of Kopke Street to a hospital.
Police said the incident was first reported at 6:30 p.m. as a possible drive-by shooting, but more details became available last night.
The shooting occurred in the area of a park on Mokauea Street, which is near Kopke, police said. Police had not located any suspects yesterday evening.
3 men sought in store robbery
Honolulu police are looking for three males in their late teens or early 20s who police say robbed a Honolulu liquor store armed with a shotgun and knives late Thursday night.
Police said the three armed assailants entered a Honolulu liquor store at 11:55 p.m. Thursday and demanded money and property.
The victims include four men in their 30s and a woman, 35.
The suspects then took goods and fled on foot.
They face six counts of first-degree robbery charges.

Police seek 3 in Waipahu heist
Police are asking for the public's help in finding three males who robbed the Hilltop Market in Waipahu.
The three entered the market at 94-307 Farrington Highway about 10:50 p.m. Thursday and approached the cashier, allegedly demanding money.
Police said one of the men was allegedly armed with an aluminum baseball bat and hit the cashier with it.
Police said the other two suspects took merchandise from the store and all three fled.
The suspects may have been driving a white two-door 2004 Pontiac.
All three are about 18 to 20 years old.
The man wielding the bat is described as between 18 and 20 years old, 5-foot-8, 140 pounds, wearing a black shirt to cover his face, a brown hooded jacket and a blue T-shirt.
A second man was 5 foot 8, 140 pounds, wearing an orange T-shirt over his face, a black T-shirt and black shorts.
A third suspect is about 5-foot-10, 140 pounds, and wore a black T-shirt, black shorts and slippers.
