Chow out at judo junior worlds

Team USA member Chrissy Chow of Honolulu did not advance out of the first round of yesterday's Junior World Judo Championships in Bangkok, Thailand.

Chow, competing in the 52kg division, faced Russia's Natalia Kuzyutina, who medaled at the Warsaw World Cup earlier this year. The match was scoreless until Kuzyutina pinned Chow for ippon late in the second minute.
