Judiciary employees earn awards

Big Island District Judge Joseph Florendo was named Jurist of the Year among state Judiciary employees. Dexter Cho, a pest control technician at the Department of Agriculture, is the state Employee of the Year. Aaron Ueno, acting Hawaii district health officer of the Department of Health, is the state Manager of the Year, and the Department of Transportation's Airports Division Photovoltaic Engineering Team is the state Team of the Year.
