Hawaii (5-5-4, 1-1-1 Western Athletic Conference) will try to gain ground against the league-leading Aggies (9-7-1, 4-0) before closing its home slate against the Lady Techsters (10-3-4, 0-1-3). Both games begin at 5 p.m.
BeachBoys tip CaneFires in HWB

James McOwen's two-run single in the sixth made it 9-6 and Waikiki (9-11) held off the comeback attempt by West Oahu (10-10).
BeachBoys pitcher Blake Parker picked up the win, allowing one run in 11/3 innings of relief. David Pfeiffer gave up one run over the final two innings and earned the save.
» Cleveland Indians prospect Matt McBride had three hits, including a solo home run, to lead North Shore past Honolulu 7-0 in the nightcap at Hans L'Orange Park.

Another win for Feldmann, Stubblefield
Andrew Feldmann and Larry Stubblefield captured the Aloha Section PGA 4-Ball Match Play Championships for the seventh straight time yesterday at Oahu Country Club.
The final match against Jerry Mullen and Damien Jamila was all even through the 18th and 19th holes before Stubblefield canned a 6-foot birdie to win it on the 20th hole.
Vercruyssen a winner in Colorado
Hawaii gymnast Nani Vercruyssen finished first in synchronized trampoline and second in individual trampoline at the Stars and Stripes Cup in Colorado Springs, Colo., recently.
The performance earned the 16-year-old Vercruyssen a spot on the U.S. senior team at the Pan American Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in early December.
