Saito to lead Children's Cancer Foundation

Dale Saito, consultant and fraud examiner with Galiher DeRobertis Ono, is the new president of the Hawaii Children's Cancer Foundation. Other new officers are Kendis Teho, dietitian and health educator, vice president and president elect; Wendi Hirsch, a child psychologist at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children, secretary; and Steve Van Ribbink, HMSA executive vice president and chief financial officer, treasurer.
Tracy Aiwohi, an executive assistant for the Hawaii Credit Union League, will continue as vice president of programs.
The Waikiki Health Center is collaborating with four other community health centers to improve service and patient care with a $400,000 practice management system, including electronic medical records.
The two-year project involves a group purchase of the GE Centricity medical records program, tailored to the centers' specific needs.
Supporting the purchase of the system, which will be completed near year, are the Cecil G. Marshall Fund of the Hawaii Community Foundation, with $100,000 over two years; the Hawaii Women's Legal Foundation, $50,000; Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii Public Health Fund, $35,000; Atherton Family Foundation, $20,000; and Alexander & Baldwin, $2,500.
