Good things come in threes

Put a little zip into Kauai trip
To celebrate the addition of a new line to its zip line course, Princeville Ranch Adventures on Kauai is offering Hawaii residents an opportunity to check out the new line on its “;Zip Express”; tour at a discounted rate of $59 (the usual rate is $125). The offer is good through mid-December, with the exception of Thanksgiving week.
Named “;Lehua,”; the new line measures 460 feet in length. The course now offers eight zip lines, plus a bonus “;bunny”; line.

Close encounter with a sea turtle
Upgrade to the Sea Turtle Encounter through Oct. 18 and go on a one-hour behind-the-scenes guided tour with a naturalist at Maui Ocean Center.
This informative tour covers turtle biology, how to protect them and how they are cared for at the center. This tour also offers guests the hands-on opportunity to prepare a meal for the turtles, as well as participate in a supervised turtle feeding.
The honu are not the only ones who get fed; guests will be able to enjoy their own complimentary lunch in the Reef Cafe.
The tours run at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The cost is $15 for adults and children; park admission is not included. A one-day pass is $24 for adults, $21 for 65 and older, and $17 for ages 3 to 12. Reserve at (808) 270-7089 up to 24 hours in advance.
