Fans can get up close and personal with symphony

For a free preview of upcoming Honolulu Symphony concerts, take advantage of “;Meet the Musicians”; on the first Monday of each month beginning today at Borders Ward Center.

Concertmaster Ignace “;Iggy”; Jang makes the first appearance at 7 p.m. in the second-floor stage area.

At each session a symphony musician will share personal stories, perform briefly and talk about upcoming concerts; an informal question-and-answer session will follow. A pair of tickets to a symphony concert will be given away at each “;Meet the Musicians”; event.
