Take part in a “;Soulebration”; at the Land of Organica (900A Maunakea St.) during festivities at this month's First Friday Gallery Walk. Malia will provide bellydancing and live drummers, while Bryan Von Ausen will offer acoustic sounds, all as visitors partake of massages and acupuncture treatments. Meanwhile, at “;Live from the Lawn”; at the Hawaii State Art Museum (250 S. Hotel St.), the Brothers Cazimero will headline “;Hawaiian Classics,”; a showcase of top local artists. Brother Noland, Jeff Peterson and the dancers, drummers and singers of Te Lumanaki O Tokelau will also take the stage. Music starts at 6 p.m. Le Crepe Cafe will offer sweet delectables, while Soul de Cuba Cafe will serve up roast pork sandwiches. Artists Chris Campbell (woodcarving), Diane KW (clay carving), Leatrice Miyashiro (pastel) and Susan Morita (glass) will demonstrate their crafts at Shop@HiSam, the museum gift shop. Call 586-0900.

Ong King Arts Center (184 N. King St.) is busy as ever this month, with the visual art of Ariel Eisen and Anuradha Shankaran, and then, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., presenting performances by Family Dinner, The Deadbeats, Taimane Gardner, Quadraphonix, the Shakti Dance Movement (bellydancing) and slam poetry by Ishle Park. The Honolulu Underground Theatre also performs. The lineup is hosted by MC See and DJ Joulz. Call 306-7823 or 428-3233.

“;One Night Stand in the Chinatown Courtyard”; (Mendonca Building Courtyard, 1126 Smith St., 262-5930) presents for the second year “;Portraits of Survival: The Survivor Spirit,”; photography of breast-cancer survivors by James Anshutz. Also, see cast paper sculptures by Spencer Hamada and Michael Creek, and Fred Gayagas will return to play Hawaiian music.

Also, Kim Taylor Reece Gallery (1142 Bethel St., 293-2000) showcases paintings by Dina D'Argo. Thirtyninehotel (39 Hotel St., 599-2552) is exhibiting “;iterate reiterate re,”; new textile work by Mary Babcock, Maya Portne and Madeleine Soeder. Daspace (1192 Smith St., 2nd floor, 352-4960 and 429-3324) features SmarTitas 12th Anniversary Celebration with “;Rant n Rave.”; DJ Micki Mahem will set the groove, Shadiya will emcee the Open Mike and MC Aluli will paint live, all from 6 to 9 p.m.
