Bar association taps legal trio

Greg W. Kugle, Mark M. Murakami and Courtney S. Kajikawa, attorneys with Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert, have been named 2009 section chairpersons of the Hawaii State Bar Association. Kugle, a director of the firm, will chair the section on real property and financial services; Murakami, also a director, will co-chair the admiralty section; and Kajikawa, an associate, will head the probate and estate planning section.

Century 21 announced its newest employees: Ashley T. Souza, whose previous experience includes being a realty associate for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties; Grace Blevins, who worked as a realty associate for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties; and Marieta Vallesteros, who was a realty associate for Alliance Realty International.

The Surfrider Foundation hired Stuart H. Coleman as its first Hawaiian islands field coordinator. He will work with Surfrider chapters across the state to help grow their membership and promote programs. He has been volunteering for Surfrider for seven years and also is a teacher, activist and author of “;Eddie Would Go”; and “;Fierce Heart.”;
