Reese and Bank of Hawaii wealth adviser Stephanie K. Conference: The Hawaii Island Economic Development Board and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency host the 2008 "Zero Waste" conference, exploring future planning issues and opportunities for Hawaii's waste stream and the adoption if renewable energy applications. Guest speakers include Zero Emissions Research Institute founder Gunter Pauli, zero waste consultants Gary Liss and Richard Anthony, and Oakland C&D project manager Patrick Michael Hayes.
