Kauai accident victims still in hospital

LIHUE » A mother and her 6-month-old daughter remain hospitalized after a head-on crash on Kauai on Tuesday killed the woman's husband and another man.
According to police, a vehicle driven by Benhur Nono of Kapaa crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driven by Colin Sunada, 32, of Lihue.
Sunada was declared dead at the scene, while Nono, 44, was pronounced dead at Wilcox Hospital.
Sunada's wife, Marry, 29, and their baby, Lilliana, were seriously injured.
Marry Sunada is in serious condition at Wilcox Hospital, while her daughter was airlifted to the Queen's Medical Center on Tuesday night. Her condition was unknown as of last night.
Speed was a factor in the crash, police added.
The deaths raise Kauai traffic fatalities to 10 so far this year, according to county officials.
