KuIkahi 15s win title at the USA JOs

KuIkahi Volleyball Club captured the 15 Club Division title with a 25-27, 25-23, 15-8 victory over previously undefeated Naranjito of Puerto Rico at the USA Junior Olympic Volleyball Tournament in Sandy, Utah.

The Hawaii team won its semifinal match against Pitirres 15s (San Juan, Puerto Rico) 25-21, 25-19 to avenge a first-round pool-play loss.

Middle blocker Tyler Cundiff was named to the all-tournament team. Also named from KuIkahi were Daylan Chock and Jaylen Reyes.

» Pilipaa of Hilo beat Orlando Gold 17 Black 25-23, 25-17 to remain undefeated in the tournament at 6-0.
