» Kurt Suzuki (Baldwin) lined a game-winning RBI down the right-field line in the bottom of the 11th inning in Oakland's 7-6 win over Florida on Friday. Suzuki went 4-for-5 with a home run and a career-high five RBIs. Over the past five games, Suzuki is hitting .631 (12-for-19) with two home runs and seven RBIs. His catcher's ERA is 3.28 for the season, lowest in the majors.
» Tyler Yates (Kauai, Hawaii-Hilo) earned his third win of the season on Friday, pitching two hitless innings of relief in a 1-0 victory against Toronto that lasted 12 innings.
» Rex Rundgren (Mid-Pacific) was activated from the disabled list by Triple-A Las Vegas on June 14 but has yet to play since then.
» Kila Kaaihue (Iolani) belted his team-leading 16th home run of the season on Friday. The Texas League All-Star is second in the league in home runs.

» Steven Wright (Hawaii) earned the win in his debut for Double-A Akron, throwing 52/3 innings and allowing one earned run on four hits and a walk. The Cleveland Indians organization promoted the Carolina League All-Star from Single-A Kinston on June 16. Kanekoa Texeira (Kamehameha) was chosen to take Wright's place on the All-Star roster. Wright joins fellow Hawaii products Bronson Sardinha (Kamehameha), Brandon Chaves (Hilo, Hawaii-Hilo) and Reid Santos (Castle) in Akron.
