Mass set for kumu hula

Kumu hula John Keolamaka'ainana Lake will be remembered in a Mass at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mystical Rose Chapel on the grounds of Chaminade University.

The founder of Halau Mele and retired Saint Louis School teacher died May 14 of complications from pneumonia.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the university chapel. Another service will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday with visitation at 5 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be Monday at Maui Memorial Park. The family requests aloha attire.
