A celebration of life service for slack-key guitar master Raymond Kaleoalohapoinaohelemanu Kane, 82, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary. Visitation runs from 1 until 9 p.m.

Another visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Scattering of ashes will be on Sunday at noon at Zablan Beach in Nanakuli. Flowers welcome. Aloha attire.

Kane, of Nanakuli and Waianae, died Feb. 27 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital.

Born in Koloa, Kauai, he is survived by wife Elodia; children Dennis Kane, Michael Kane, Joann Kailiwai'i, Raynette "Moana" Kane-Arakaki and Faith Estores; brothers Abraham and Kenneth Panoke; sister Aileen Perry; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
