"I love it," the University of Hawaii quarterback said before yesterday's practice when asked if he's looking forward to playing indoors. "I don't know what it is. The ball has a way of cutting through the air that you can't get when you play outside.
"I know our guys can't wait to run on that fast track. We're going to have an outstanding time throwing the football around in there. We're going to have some fun."
Now, you might think Brennan would be reluctant to throw the football inside the house. After all, the last time he played in a dome, he tossed five interceptions in a win over Idaho. But what you have to remember is that was the first time back from the bad ankle sprain he suffered the afternoon before the game at Nevada-Las Vegas.
As for head coach June Jones, he doesn't believe Georgia has an advantage of practicing at the Superdome, while Hawaii has done its work inside the New Orleans Saints facility.
When asked that question yesterday, he fired back a quick response.
"No," Jones answered succinctly. "We'll get in there on Monday during our walk-through. That's all we'll need."
