Jamie Smith scored 23 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and added three blocked shots to lead No. 2 Iolani over No. 3 Kamehameha 44-27 in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu regular-season opener for both teams last night at Iolani.
After a tight first half, the Raiders turned up the defensive pressure, and capitalized on Warriors turnovers to take a 10-point third quarter lead.
Smith hit twice from behind the arc in the quarter.
Pualei Furtado had seven points to lead the Warriors.
