New Vision Television Inc. has paid $13.3 million to acquire the KHON-TV studio at the Nauru Tower in one of the final steps in the $330 million sale of the Honolulu Fox and CW affiliate and its sister stations.

The transaction includes the 30,000-square-foot station in the Hawaiki Tower at 88 Piikoi St. and about 70 parking stalls, said Joe MacNamara, KHON president and general manager.

California-based Montecito Broadcast Group LLC received approval for the sale of the station last month from the Federal Communications Commission.

The broadcast deal also includes KHON's neighbor island satellite stations, plus KOIN-TV in Portland, Ore., KSN-TV, Wichita and KSNT-TV Topeka, Kansas and satellite stations in Kansas and Nebraska.

Montecito bought the stations for $259 million from Indiana-based Emmis Commun- ications Corp. in 2005.
