The Duke's OceanFest includes a variety of events, including the World Title of Tandem Surfing, longboard and paddleboard competitions, a volleyball tournament and an ocean swim. Accessurf Hawaii is also part of the festivities. Accessurf Hawaii helps people with disabilities get to the beach and assists in surf and swimming activities. Bryan Suratt and Casey McKinley, 9, rode a wave yesterday. After catching many waves, Casey, who has cerebral palsy, exclaimed, "This is the best day of my life," when he set foot on the beach.
