A "NAUPAKA" REUNION: Peter-Rockford Tau Espiritu, third from left, was both the producer and guest of honor Saturday at the Tau Dance Theatre fundraiser "Deca Dance (Remix)" at the Honolulu Design Center. SUPPORTING THE ART OF DANCE: Dr. John Magauran, left, president of the executive board of the Tau Dance Theatre, welcomed arts supporters Guy Merola, Mark Wong and Jack Law to the party. The Tau Dance Theatre made history last year with its production of "Naupaka," the first full-length opera performed in Hawaiian, and "Deca Dance (Remix)" will help it maintain the momentum.

3 STARS OF THE EVENING: Pakala Fernandes, left, Raiatea Helm and Jay Larrin were among the impressive cast of singers and dancers who entertained at Stage. Larrin played a medley of his hits, Kala'i Stern and Starr Kalahiki sang selections from "Naupaka," Puakea Nogelmeier danced hula and Helm thrilled the crowd with her rendition of "At Last."
