Betty K.I. Ching, left, Frances Peoples and Norma Koenig were all smiles as they hugged each other at yesterday's 35th Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) luncheon at the Ala Moana Hotel. Peoples, 89, a volunteer for almost 32 years, and Ching, a 30-year volunteer, were introduced as "the grand dames of volunteers" by RSVP director Koenig during the ceremony honoring 400 senior citizens.
