It was a big night for the class of 2007 last night, with 22 schools holding graduation ceremonies for 3,930 seniors. Above, Radford High School graduate Josh Weldon, right, adjusted his cap before the start of commencement yesterday as Cynclaire Woods, center, and Robert Gillett watched. The Aloha Stadium ceremony saw 266 students graduate.

Some of the 395 members of Leilehua High's class of 2007 celebrated yesterday after receiving diplomas during their graduation ceremony at Hugh Yoshida Stadium in Wahiawa. Deployed family members surprised some of the graduates with taped messages of congratulations.

The USS Peleliu prepared to leave Pearl Harbor yesterday on a four-month humanitarian mission to the western Pacific, similar to what the hospital ship Mercy did last summer.
