» Cy Donald (Mililani, U. San Francisco) was released by the Chillicothe (Ohio) Paints last Tuesday. The infielder then signed with the Slippery Rock (Pa.) Sliders. Both teams are in the independent Frontier League.
» Micah Furtado (Kapaa, Lewis & Clark State) has hit safely in five consecutive games. The infielder hit his first home run of the season last Sunday in an 8-7 win over Stockton.
