The American Institute of Architects Honolulu Chapter takes people on weekly trips to contemplate the history present in the designs of significant buildings in downtown Honolulu.

The tour normally costs $15, but Saturday, the group is leading the tours for free from 9 to 10 a.m. in honor of the group's 150th anniversary in Hawaii.

Meet at AIA Honolulu in the Stangenwald Building, located at 119 Merchant St., Suite 402. Reservations are required. Call 545-4242 (ext. 12 for voice mail) or log on to www.aiahonolulu.org.
