Dusich and Mathenson lead Kaiser past Waipahu

Jessica Dusich and Kristyn Mathenson combined for 23 second-half points and Kaiser picked up its first regular-season victory by defeating Waipahu 65-45 last night in an Oahu Interscholastic Association White Division game at Kaiser.

Dusich finished with a game-high 25 points and Mathenson added 16 as the Cougars out-scored the Marauders 39-18 in the second half. Margaret Siligo poured in a team-high 18 points for Waipahu, which is tied with Kaiser in the division at 1-4.
