Animation pros teach a class

Leo Chu, head of animation for SPIKE TV/MTV Networks, and Eric Garcia, an animated filmmaker, will host a free a master class on contemporary animation Thursday at the University of Hawaii.

Chu and Garcia head up the animated series "Afro Samurai," starring Samuel L. Jackson.

Their class stakes place at 10:30 a.m. at UH-Manoa's Academy for Creative Media, Webster Hall, Room 112. Seating is limited; call 956-7736 for reservations or e-mail lilychin@hawaii.edu.
