Lakers' chef teams with Choy

Jeffrey Mora, chef to the Los Angeles Lakers, will join Hawaii chef Sam Choy at the 14th annual Gourmet Affair to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Honolulu.

About 500 sponsors and guests are expected to celebrate "A Night in Rio" at Kapiolani Community College on March 3. Last year's event featured the chefs from Google, and raised approximately $140,000 for the nonprofit organization. This year, all four chefs from Google -- including international corporate chef Josef Desimone -- will fly to Hawaii to help Mora and Choy.

The evening under the stars (with tents, of course) will be held in the Kilauea parking lot of the KCC campus, with panoramic views of Oahu. Entertainment will be by the Brazilian Cultural Center of Hawaii.
