» The state Legislature most recently took up the issue of physician-assisted suicide in 2005, when a bill was heard in the House Health Committee and deferred indefinitely, killing the measure that year. A
story on Page A3 yesterday said the proposal was most recently discussed in 2004.
» The weather report on Page A4 Tuesday said incorrectly that spring began that day. That report was picked up inadvertently during the production process.
» An editorial on Page A12 in the Tuesday morning edition misspelled the name of Debi Hartmann, former director of Hawaii Future Today, as Hartman.
» An editorial on Page A10 Monday incorrectly stated that Malulani Health Systems' partner in proposing a new hospital at Kihei on Maui is a Texas-based nonprofit. Triad Hospitals Inc., the company to which the editorial referred, is a for-profit company.
» Animal CARE Foundation did not bid for the city's crowing-rooster contract in 2005. A story on Page A1 Sunday incorrectly said the foundation had lost the bid.
