STAR OF HONOLULU The sight of a humpback whale breaching may greet passengers on the Star of Honolulu.

Whale cruises continue to April

Get to know Hawaii's other winter visitors, the humpback whales, via Star of Honolulu's Premier Whale Watch Cruise.

Cruises depart 11:30 a.m. daily from Aloha Tower, Pier 8, for a two-and-a-half-hour sail to Diamond Head.

The crew includes certified naturalists who lead educational activities.

The whale cruise continues through April 30, when the last of the islands' ocean mammals head back to northern waters.

The cruise rate is $33 for adults and $20 for ages 3 to 11. Kamaaina/military rates are $26.40 for adults and $16 for ages 3 to 11 with valid ID.
