Six months after performing at the 2006 "Bomb Bucha" concert, reggae crooner Maxi Priest, left, returns to Honolulu for another concert in support of his 2005 album, "2 The Max."
Priest performs at Pipeline Cafe this time around, with local bands Big Every Time, Bamboo and Next Generation scheduled to open the 18-and-over show. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Local promoters Partymasters Hawaii teams up with Saab Hawaii and GUESS to present the latest "Smooth" party.
The fun starts at 9 p.m. for the 21-and-over crowd, with San Francisco's DJ Troy Michael on the decks. A GUESS fashion show also is planned. Cover for the party is $10; VIP table and bottle service is available. Call 957-0303 for reservations.
