However, a new paradigm has prevailed and the Heisman has evolved from honoring the nation's best player, to acknowledging the best player on the nation's best team. ...
So here's my question: Where's the love for John Beck? If stats and numbers mean anything in the Heisman race, Beck should not only be in common Heisman conversation, but people should be talking about the Heisman race as a toss-up between Beck and Hawaii's Colt Brennan. And while Troy Smith is certainly worthy of fair consideration, Brady Quinn doesn't even deserve to have his name used in the same sentence as the word Heisman."
