Karl Sakamoto wore a Christmas tree on his head yesterday as he marched in the Liliha-Palama Christmas Parade with the Honolulu First Church of the Nazarene. The Lions Club passed out treats along the parade route from Liliha and Judd streets to Kohou Street.

Members of the Manoa Paniolo Junior Pee Wee football team clowned around yesterday at Manoa District Park. Uapili Lucey, center, watched Chasten Pupuhi and James Awaya. The team earned the right to compete in the national Pop Warner Championships in Orlando, Fla., next month, but they need to raise $54,000.
