Santa listened to the wishes of kids (and some adults, too) on Wednesday at the Menehune Toy Shop at Ala Moana Center. Among the visitors were Saori Sekiguchi, daughter Mashiro, 4, and husband Masahiro holding their other daughter, Sara, 1, who wouldn't stop crying, even for Santa. The family is from Tokyo. Santa laughed as Petra Bertram from Germany felt his beard to see if it's real ... which it is. Petra said she tries to visit Hawaii every year and takes a picture with Santa to prove there is a Santa in Hawaii, which she said always amazes her friends in Germany because they think Hawaii doesn't have any. When Santa asked her what she wished for Christmas, she said she wanted to take him home with her, which got a good hearty laugh from jolly old St. Nick. CLICK FOR LARGE
