World-renowned surfer Laird Hamilton reached out to Beau King, 6, after paddleboarding from Molokai to Sandy Beach yesterday. Also pictured is Beau's brother, Dane, 9. Hamilton and David Kalama have been participating in a 500-mile biking and paddling journey to publicize and raise funds for an upcoming film by Don King, "Beautiful Son." The movie's focus, inspired by Beau, who has autism, will be on healing autism. Hamilton and Kalama's journey will continue by bicycle from Sandy Beach to Mokuleia, where they will depart by paddleboard to Kauai.
