Boys get their wish to meet with ‘Dog’ and Beth Chapman
The Make-a-Wish program made wishes come true for
Derrick D.J. Barnby, 6, and
Steven Eltz, 15, to visit with
Duane "Dog" and
Beth Chapman Thursday. D.J. was dressed as "Dog Jr." Wheelchair-bound Steven has a crush on Beth. The boys will also appear on a "Bounty Hunter" program with the Chapmans. Jackie's Kitchen invited the youngsters and their families to have lunch before the meeting with the stars. The Halekulani is presenting an evening with Hawaii filmmaker Edgy Lee Sept. 7, 6:30 to 9 p.m. The $45 ticket includes a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception, excerpts of Lee's film's, discussions and live music.
