information box on Page A3 yesterday incorrectly implied that all students would return to classes today.
» The trustees of the state Employees' Retirement System pension fund voted Monday to immediately accept the resignation of First Hawaiian Bank subsidiary Bishop Street Capital as manager of a $112.5 million domestic large-cap growth fund it manages for ERS. A
story in yesterday's morning edition said the fund had been terminated.
» The Hawaii Division of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will honor Dr. James F. Pierce, one of the leading MS specialists in Hawaii, at a reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 30 at the Oahu Country Club. The date was incorrect in a
"Shining Stars" item on Page A2 Sunday.
